According to Google, a hobby is a regular activity done for enjoyment during leisure time—not for work or profit—offering relaxation, skill-building, and stress relief.

Finance somehow manages to tick every one of those boxes for me. Even when the markets are closed, I find myself checking my phone—trying to understand what’s happening from a macro perspective or diving into company-specific developments. It gives me a kind of entertainment I can’t fully explain.

What started as a way to earn money slowly evolved into something much deeper. Finance became a hobby—one that keeps me curious, challenged, and constantly learning. It feels less like work and more like a game, where the only way to get better is to truly understand the rules, stay patient, and put in the effort. And honestly, I couldn’t have asked for anything more.
